Minneapolis- Loring Park had assorted wildlife, a lake in the center of the park, walking paths, seating areas under shade of trees. The park also has a dog park, area for your children to play, a great spot for picnicking with your friends or family, a basketball and tennis court, path for strolling and jogging.
In the summer months, I like to take a walk around the park, view the beautiful Berger water fountain from the park bench and then proceed over the bridge to marvel the view of the Walker Art Center and lastly visit the Minneapolis Sculpture Gardens.
In 2013, the Loring Park Greenway Association received the Downtown Improvement District “Best Community Involvement” Award. The DID grants’ awards for exceptional greening site within the downtown Minneapolis location.
