Three Easy Things You Can Do to Help Your Twin Cities Condo or Home Sell More Quickly
- De-clutter. If you do nothing else, get rid of the clutter in your condo or home before you list it. We are all guilty of these, but those piles of old magazines and messy counters can turn potential buyers away. Even collections, such as books and knick knacks can be unappealing. Better to go ahead and box them up before you sell.
- Plant colorful annuals in your front yard. Good curb appeal is essential to encouraging potential buyers to call and make an appointment to view your home, rather than just driving on by. Colorful (and inexpensive) annuals, such as Geraniums, impatiens and marigolds are easy to put in and will draw house shoppers’ eyes to your front door. Position these new plants along the walkway to your door, in pots on your front porch and/or in a flower bed along the front of your property.
- Interior updates. Paint walls with neutral colors. Replace outdated light fixtures with traditional to modern lights. If it applies, you may want to clean the carpet or if replace it.
